Salvation

If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven?

Either your answer will be resounding YES or it will be uncertain NO.

You can know for sure of your eternal destination, that you would go to be with Jesus when you die, by recognizing and acknowledging these truths:

  • Jesus is the only One who can save you, Acts 4:12. There is no other name but Jesus who can save you from your sins. This means that there is no other name that provides salvation with the promise of eternal life with God in heaven.
  • Whoever calls on the name of Jesus will be saved, Acts 2:21. This is a sure thing so you won’t have to wonder if you’re saved or not. When the confession is made that Jesus is Lord and Saviour, your faith has saved you.
  • God calls you His child because of His love for you, 1 John 3:1. You have a purpose in life as He has a plan for you. You are not a failure. You are His masterpiece whom He planned from before the beginning of time.

To receive salvation, abundant life, and eternal life, follow these simple steps:

Admit your sinful mistakes to God, and ask Him to forgive you.

Believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son, who died on a cross for us, then rose again.

Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord, and commit to live according to His Word, the Bible.

Here is simple prayer to pray:

Father God, Your Word says that You love me even though I am a sinner. Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the cross for my sins. Thank You, Jesus, for being obedient unto death in providing salvation for me. Jesus, thank You for the forgiveness of my sins, past, present, and future. Through my faith, I am now saved. I am now born-again and my name is written in the Book of Life. Thank You! I am free, I am saved, I am a new creation in Christ! I now have eternal life. Thank You, God!

If you prayed this prayer, you have declared your faith in God and the angels are rejoicing this very moment! You are now saved!

Romans 10:9 “if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Now that you’ve prayed this prayer of faith and have accepted Jesus Christ into your heart, you need to tell someone. Why not come visit us on Sunday and let the Pastor know of your decision to follow Christ? He would love to hear of your decision and if you need a Bible, he will give you one, too.
